All on-site and outreach programming are currently suspended until further notice due to COVID-19 precautions. Virtual story time can be viewed on the Lawrence County Library Facebook page each Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. and after school at 4:00 p.m.
Attention Summer Readers! Usually the library kicks off the Summer Reading Program next week. Due to precautions still in place concerning COVID-19, we will not be having the traditional reading program, BUT we are planning curbside pick-up for books, some take home crafts, online activities, and weekly online storytime for multiple age groups. Please message the library to register yourself or your child – on Facebook or give me a call.
Lawrence County Library cardholders can now access free, unlimited high-speed internet from almost anywhere through our Wi-Fi hotspot lending program.
Portable hotspots allow library cardholders who do not have home internet access to easily get online from almost anywhere using a Wi-Fi-enabled device such as a phone, tablet or laptop. Hotspots are available to check out , just like a book or DVD.
Hotspots can be checked out for one week at a time. The Hotspot must be returned to the Service Desk of the location where it was checked out. Do not return the Hotspot in the book drop. When you are ready to return the Hotspot to the library, place the device and charger in the box. Please be gentle with the device, charger, booklets, and box. There is a fee for all damaged or lost items.
It’s free to get a library card so if you don’t already have one stop by one of our locations in Walnut Ridge, Lynn, or Imboden to sign up. Please bring some form of photo ID and proof of current address.
